On 15 October 2025, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology launched the Luminary Engineers Scholarship, with Ms. Anjali Sharma (Class of 2002) as the scholarship granter.

The award recognises exceptional all-round engineering students who combine academic excellence with strong co-curricular engagement. Instituted as a gesture of giving back, the scholarship reflects her belief that education shapes character as much as careers.

Awarded annually, it aims to inspire future engineers to dream bigger, lead responsibly, and create meaningful impact beyond the classroom.

Rooted in a family legacy of words—his father’s recitations, grandfather’s poems, and mother’s love for Hindi—the book preserves thoughts that might otherwise fade with time.

Compiled and edited by his mother, Prayas reflects on grief, empathy, humility, and human connection. More than a book, it offers readers a quiet space to revisit memories, loss, and meaning through simple, enduring poetry.
