Ode to EI Ganeshotsav
Dhol Tashe ne machaya Dhamaal,
Bappa ke Swagat mein tha josh Kamaal,
Bappa tu jaldi aana agle saal.
Bhajan Jamming ne banayi Taal,
Har sur mein Bappa ka khayal,
Bappa tu jaldi aana agle saal.
Bachchon ki performance thi bemisaal,
Housie ne kiya kuch logon ko malamaal,
Bappa tu jaldi aana agle saal.
Bappa ne kiya EI ko khushhaal,
Bappa ki vidaai mein dil hua behaal,
Bappa tu jaldi aana agle saal.
Emerald Isle witnessed, and community spirit. While the event was a grand success, its organization involved overcoming several challenges, including securing approvals for the pandal setup, arranging the necessary facilities, and obtaining permission for the use of amplifiers.
Through meticulous planning, perseverance, and the wholehearted support of residents and the management, every hurdle was successfully addressed.
The celebrations commenced with the energetic beats of the Dhol-Tasha, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement and enthusiasm as residents came together to welcome Lord Ganesha with immense joy and devotion.
A deeply spiritual highlight of the festivities was the collective recitation of the Atharvashirsha, where devotees gathered to offer prayers and seek Lord Ganesha’s blessings.
The powerful chants created an aura of devotion and serenity, setting the tone for the celebrations and strengthening the community's spiritual connection with Bappa.
Adding a soulful touch to the event was the Bhajan Jamming Session. Their heartfelt renditions of devotional songs filled the atmosphere with divine energy, encouraging residents to sing along and immerse themselves in the celebrations.
Every melody and verse echoed devotion, bringing together people of all ages in a shared expression of faith.
Special mention to inhouse south bhajan group of Emerald Isle for their soulful contribution.
The cultural programs showcased the incredible talent within the Emerald Isle community.
The children's performances were a major attraction (with 90 plus kids participation), with young residents captivating the audience through vibrant dances, musical performances, and cultural presentations.
Their confidence, enthusiasm, and stage presence earned loud applause and admiration from everyone present.
The celebrations also featured a series of performances by adults, who enthusiastically participated through dance acts, musical presentations, and cultural showcases.
Their energy and involvement demonstrated the spirit of togetherness that makes Emerald Isle a close-knit and vibrant community.
Adding to the festive cheer was an exciting game of Housie (with 350 plus participants) which brought residents of all age groups together for an evening of fun and laughter.
The thrill of the game, along with attractive prizes for the lucky winners, made the experience even more enjoyable and memorable.
Throughout the celebration, Lord Ganesha’s presence filled Emerald Isle with positivity, happiness, and togetherness.
The success of the event was truly a testament to the collective efforts of the organizing committee, volunteers, performers, residents, and management, whose cooperation and dedication helped overcome every challenge and made the celebration possible.
As the time came to bid farewell to Bappa, the atmosphere turned emotional. With hearts full of gratitude and devotion, residents gathered to offer their final prayers and chant:
“Bappa, tu jaldi aana agle saal!”
The Ganpati celebration at Emerald Isle was a wonderful reflection of faith, culture, talent, and community bonding.
From the sacred Atharvashirsha recitation and soulful bhajans to the outstanding performances by children and adults, every moment contributed to a memorable and enriching experience.
