Splish Splash celebrates the playful magic of a rainy day, where dancing flowers, paper boats, joyful splashes, and the aroma of hot buns come together to capture the wonder, excitement, and simple happiness of childhood.

Leaves swinging here and there,

I’ve not seen this anywhere.

Everyone goes to their place,

At their fastest pace.

And when it starts raining,

All the pretty flowers start waving.

Children come out in their raincoats,

To start sailing their colourful paper boats.

While the gardener’s work is done,

Thanks to the hiding sun!

The children are splashing water in fun,

And the mothers are baking hot buns.

The lightning makes me shiver,

Just like a piping hot fritter.

Just as the rain stops,

It’s time for the sun to pop!
